Various tile projects.
Various Vinyl planked flooring projects. One of my favourite types of flooring is this relatively new system. It is basically a vinyl plank, floating floor. This floor easily moulds to the sub floor, and develops the contour of the floor. This then means no dead spots, or hollow spots under the floor. For example, when using laminate flooring, often there will be hollow spots, and then with use, these laminate boards crack and fall apart. Laminate floors also have a very distinct clicking sound when walking on them with footwear.
This Vinyl planked flooring comes in different styles, patterns, colours, durability levels, and even connecting mechanisms. These floors are also water resistant, and is some cases water proof. There is no clicking sound when walking on them, and often the opposite happens...the rooms become quieter. Some of the styles also have a slightly rough surface, which is great for preventing slipping. I have used this type of floor in many of my completed projects sections as well.
